Just starting out the blog with a thought for the day...How in this crazy, crammed full of everything under the sun life, do we do things that really matter consistently on a daily basis? I know that almost every day I fill my plate full of thousands of inconsequential, meaningless, non-eternal activities. I am seeking to mean more every day in word & deed. This blog is a small step towards that endeavor...

- I am someone who is hoping to help be a part of changing the world around me one step at a time. I am passionate about many things; being a business owner (see my website at 1stGearDriving.com), being a new home owner, (see my Facebook to look at pics!) missions work, worshiping in spirit & truth in all that I do, creating music, learning to play the guitar with proficiency & skill, adding beauty to the world around me my creating or coming alongside those who do, traveling, politics (see the website of the local group I work with at DeliberateCitizen.org), 8 Days of Hope (rebuilding in MI after Katrina & going other places to help after natural disasters), & YWAM Tyler, TX alumni & current works. I am a single woman who is a Follower of Christ first. I am also a sister, a daughter, a friend, a teacher, etc. I hope to one day be a wife & mother, but more than that, I long to hear at the end of my life "Well done, good & faithful servant..." more than I hope for anything else in life...that will be the seal of approval that will mean I've done some things right. :)
